KUALA LUMPUR – The drought is finally over! Last night (April 18th), the absolute powerhouse WOODZ (Cho Seungyoun) officially reclaimed his throne in Malaysia with the 2026 WOODZ WORLD TOUR ‘Archive. 1’ IN KUALA LUMPUR. Organized by iMe MY, this wasn’t just a concert; it was a high-voltage reunion that proved why he is the ultimate all-rounder of the industry.
Returning to our shores after three long years—and his first visit since military discharge—the energy at the venue was nothing short of electrifying. MOODZ showed up in full force, turning the hall into a sea of light and screams that didn’t stop from the first beat to the very last note!

Backed by a fire live band, WOODZ kicked things off with the heavy-hitting “Bloodline,” immediately setting the bar sky-high. The rock vibes continued to roll with “Downtown” and “Dirt On My Leather,” but the atmosphere reached a literal fever pitch when the intro for the viral hit “Drowning” dropped. The fanchants weren’t just loud—they were explosive!
The absolute highlight of the night was WOODZ’s refusal to let the night end. In a legendary display of fan service, he truly melayan every single request, resulting in the KL show having way more “bonus” rounds than expected! The show turned into a hilarious and high-energy loop as he repeated the choruses of “DROWNING,” “SEMPURNA,” “TO MY JANUARY,” “CINEMA,” and even “HUMAN EXTINCTION” over and over again. At one point, after the crowd refused to stop singing, he playfully “gave up” and just handed the mic over to the fans, letting the venue take over the vocals entirely. He literally gave everything the crowd asked for and more!
Fans might remember his previous visit where health was a concern, but Seungyoun made sure to highlight a very special promise last night. He told the crowd that he had promised not to get sick for his Malaysian return—and he kept his word! Looking incredibly healthy, vibrant, and genuinely happy, he radiated positive energy the entire night.

Before the final bow, he made sure the crowd knew this wasn’t a final goodbye, promising: “I will be back to Malaysia again!”
Beyond the high notes, WOODZ brought the house down with a soul-stirring cover of the Malay classic “Sempurna.” His pronunciation was spot-on, and he topped it off with a sweet, “Terima Kasih, Sayang Kamu.” He kept the crowd laughing throughout the night with local slang like:“Korang enjoy tak?”“Sayang! Gempak! Syiok! Hari ini memang best! Mantap! Korang sangat cantik!” The night wrapped up beautifully with the healing track “Stray,” leaving every fan with a full heart and a memory that will definitely be archived forever.
KL already misses you—see you next time! 🧡💙
