[COVERAGE] Taeyong Closes His Asia Tour with a Memorable KL Finale

Kuala Lumpur, 11 April 2026 — What a night to remember! Lee Taeyong officially wrapped up his Asia tour with an emotional and unforgettable finale at the 2026 TAEYONG CONCERT held at Idea Live Arena, and honestly, Malaysian fans are still not over it.

This stop felt extra special because it had been almost nine long years since Taeyong last returned to Malaysia. The moment fans stepped into the arena, the excitement was already in the air. You could feel the love, the anticipation, and of course, the emotions running high from every corner.

The Asia tour first kicked off in Seoul following his military discharge on 14 December 2025, before making stops in Jakarta, Yokohama, Macau, and Bangkok, finally ending on a high note right here in Kuala Lumpur.

Taeyong came in strong from the very beginning with “Locked and Loaded” and “SKIII,” instantly setting the stage on fire. The energy inside the venue was unreal. He then switched things up with the super cool “Virtual Insanity” performance before slowing it down with emotional stages like “Ruby” and “Moon Tour,” showing a softer and more heartfelt side of himself.

But let’s be real, some of the best moments of the night were not just the performances. It was the way he connected with fans that truly made the concert unforgettable.

Early in the show, he melted everyone’s hearts the moment he said, “aku rindu kamu.” Safe to say, the entire arena collectively lost it right there. He also took time to read fan banners, and the messages were just too sweet. One read, “Every Moon Tour is brighter with Taeyong,” while another said, “From SHALALA to TAP, even if we get lost in 404, we will follow your light and walk together.” The way he looked genuinely touched made the moment even more emotional. As the concert came closer to the end, he asked the crowd, “korang enjoy tak?” and the answer was obviously the loudest scream of the night. He then followed it up with “saya sayang kamu,” which had fans screaming even louder.

Taeyong also mentioned his friend Zayson during the show, making the whole night feel even more personal and intimate.

In a playful moment, he joked that he wanted to spoil upcoming plans but could not because the director might scold him, and of course, that immediately sent fans into detective mode. The encore was easily one of the most chaotic and cutest moments of the night. During “Love Theory,” he threw a small ball into the crowd as a gift, and everyone went absolutely wild. Before tossing the final two balls, he asked if there were any kids around, and in the funniest moment ever, the whole arena instantly claimed they were “kids” too just for a chance to get the gift.

He also shared that he really wants to explore Malaysia more next time, mentioning that he hoped to visit Batu Caves but did not have enough time during this trip. And yes, he happily said he loved the satay here too, which honestly makes him even more Malaysian-approved.

One of the biggest surprises of the night was when he teased that he is working on a new album. Fans barely had time to recover before it was officially announced on 12 April 2026 that his new single, “ROCK SOLID,” will be released on 17 April 2026.

He closed the night with “Long Flight,” and it was such a soft, emotional ending that nobody wanted it to be over. Before leaving the stage, Taeyong promised that he would come back again, and somehow it did not feel like a goodbye at all. It felt more like a warm and hopeful “see you next time.”

From the stunning stage production to the emotional fan moments and unforgettable performances, Kuala Lumpur truly got the perfect grand finale to an incredible tour.

we would like to thanks IME for the invitation!
