Park Jihoon brought warmth, energy, and heartfelt moments to Kuala Lumpur as part of his first solo tour, with the Asia Fan Con RE:FLECT successfully held at Plenary Hall KLCC last weekend, marking a long-awaited return for Malaysian fans.
After his last visit to Malaysia eight years ago with Wanna One, Park Jihoon finally returned as a solo singer and actor, a moment fans had eagerly anticipated. The excitement in the venue was undeniable, with fans warmly welcoming his comeback and looking forward to meeting him again after so long.

The fancon ran for approximately two hours, delivering a packed and lively experience. Before the main show began, VVIP and VIP ticket holders were treated to exclusive perks, including a soundcheck session and a photo session with Park Jihoon.
During the show, Park Jihoon performed a total of 12 songs, showcasing his versatility and strong stage presence. He opened the fancon with “Blank Effect,” “Serious,” and “Gotcha,” immediately capturing the audience’s attention. He then greeted fans in Malay, saying, “Malaysia MAY, gembira dapat berjumpa anda semua, saya Park Jihoon,” which drew loud cheers from the crowd.

The event also featured fun and engaging challenge segments that highlighted his playful personality. In one segment, he acted as a 왕자님 (wangjanim) saving a 공주님 (gongjunim) in distress, while also learning Malay terms—discovering that “왕자님” translates to “Putera” and “공주님” to “Puteri.” In another challenge, he wore puppy ears and struck three adorable poses, melting fans’ hearts with his cuteness. The second challenge required him to spin five rounds before writing “Saya sayang awak” on a drawing board, while also attempting to pronounce the phrase, adding humor and charm to the moment. In the final challenge, he ate a lemon and still managed to act cute afterward, much to the delight of fans. He also performed the popular gesture “nae maem soge jeojang (내 맘 속에 저장),” further energizing the crowd.

After the challenge segments, he continued performing the remaining songs, maintaining the emotional and lively atmosphere throughout the event. As the encore, he returned to the stage with “MAYDAY,” ending the fancon on a high and emotional note.
The event concluded with a heartwarming Hi-Bye session for all attendees. Throughout the session, Jihoon greeted each and every fan with a smile that never left his face. Whether it was a flying kiss, finger hearts, or any other request, he diligently catered to everyone. It was a testament to why Jihoon is excellent in everything he does; his actor vibes are outstanding, and his aura as a K-pop idol is truly undeniable.
