SEPANG, Malaysia — The inaugural AsiaTop Music Festival 2026 concluded on a high note after two unforgettable days of music, culture, and celebration at the Sepang International Circuit. Presented by Hong Leong Bank and co-organized by JOOX and QQMusic under Tencent Music Entertainment Group (TME), the festival welcomed nearly 50,000 fans from across the region, cementing its place as one of Asia’s premier music events of the year.

Held on May 30 and 31, the festival brought together 16 artists from across Asia, representing K-pop, C-pop, Thai pop, and Malaysian music in a vibrant showcase of cross-cultural entertainment.

Day 1: KUN and DAESUNG Lead an Electrifying Opening

The festival opened with an energetic lineup that blended rising stars, regional favorites, and global icons. Rookie group NexT1DE set the tone with a youthful and energetic performance that immediately ignited the crowd, while Sabahan singer-songwriter BELLE SISOSKI showcased her unique artistry and powerful vocals.

Malaysia’s vocal powerhouse Aina Abdul delivered one of the day’s most memorable performances, captivating audiences with her commanding stage presence and emotional delivery. Thai superstar WIN METAWIN further elevated the atmosphere, charming fans with his warm charisma and engaging interactions.

As evening approached, K-pop acts NMIXX and WINNER brought explosive energy to the Sepang circuit. NMIXX impressed with their signature blend of powerful vocals and synchronized choreography, while WINNER transformed the venue into a massive sing-along with their beloved hits and playful fan interactions.

The night reached another emotional peak when DAESUNG took the stage. Celebrating two decades of BIGBANG’s legacy, the veteran performer delivered a passionate set filled with powerful vocals and nostalgic moments that resonated deeply with longtime fans.

Closing the opening night was Chinese superstar KUN, whose visually stunning and artistically crafted performance showcased his reputation as one of Asia’s most compelling live performers. Combining immersive stage production with polished musicianship, KUN brought Day 1 to a spectacular conclusion.

Day 2: Rising K-Pop Stars and a Grand Finale

Building on the momentum of the opening day, AsiaTop Music Festival returned with another star-studded lineup led by CxM (SEVENTEEN’s S.Coups and Mingyu) and rising K-pop sensation TWS.

The afternoon began with performances from Malaysian artists URIAH SEE and FIRDHAUS, whose heartfelt vocals and emotional performances created a warm connection with the audience. Thai idol BUTTERBEAR then brought a playful and energetic atmosphere, winning over festivalgoers with a charming stage presence.

As night approached, the spotlight shifted to K-pop’s new generation. 82MAJOR energized the crowd with dynamic performances and commanding stage presence, while STAYC showcased their signature confidence, charisma, and polished vocals. CRAVITY continued the momentum with explosive choreography and high-energy performances that kept fans on their feet.

One of the evening’s standout moments came when TWS took the stage. The group captivated the audience with their youthful energy, refreshing charm, and heartfelt interactions with fans. A special confetti event created a memorable moment that symbolized the connection between the group and their dedicated fanbase.

The honor of closing the festival belonged to CxM, the highly anticipated unit featuring SEVENTEEN members S.COUPS and MINGYU. Making a dramatic entrance to thunderous applause, the duo delivered a commanding performance that showcased their charisma, professionalism, and star power. Backed by dazzling visuals and overwhelming fan support, CxM brought the festival to its highest peak, culminating in a celebratory finale highlighted by the appearance of a giant “VERY NICE” inflatable that drifted into the crowd.

A New Landmark for Asian Music

Since its announcement, AsiaTop Music Festival generated significant excitement across the region. Promotional campaigns appeared throughout Kuala Lumpur, including landmark digital displays and themed public transport branding, helping build anticipation ahead of the event.
