DEBUT, MUSIC RELEASES
Being in the top 5 for the “Star Audition: Birth of A Great Star 2” program, Eric made his debut with the song “Heaven’s Door” from EP <Cloud 9> on 2013. The singer returned to the music scene a year after with a digital single “Ooh Ooh”, followed closely by “Melt My Heart”. Eric then resume to release a ballad titled “I’m OK” in 2015. A very active singer indeed.
After signing a contract with a new company in 2016, Eric had been releasing various musical contents throughout the year. Some notable releases were the EP <Interview> with title track “Good For You” and a digital single titled “Can’t Help Myself” with Tablo from Epik High penned its lyrics.
The release of Eric’s second EP, <Honestly> also marks the beginning of the North American Tour <Honestly>. Eric also releases “FLOAT”, which was featured in the official soundtrack for “Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation”. Shortly before the release of <Before We Begin>, Eric releases a Korean digital single “Runaway”.
MUSIC COLLABORATIONS, FEATURINGS
Eric Nam had made various featuring and music collaborations with other artists. Some of the collaborations and featurings includes with Amber Liu of f(x)’s “I Just Wanna”, digital single with 15&’s Jimin titled “Dream” and Eric’s first US digital single titled “Into You” is a collaboration with KOLAJ, and not forgetting the song “Body” where he worked with American legendary producer, Timbaland. Eric also had a collaboration with Gallant and Tablo for a single “Cave Me In”, worked alongside Jeon Somi for single “You, Who”, and made a feature on Arty’s “Idea of You”.
TV SHOW MC
Shortly after his music career debut in 2013, Eric then made his debut as a TV show MC to programs “After School Club” and “The ASC After Show” from Arirang TV. Packed with his native English speaking skills, Eric managed to snag numerous interviews with popular international stars through a section from MC Section TV-Entertainment Relay.
Eric also had a gig in SNL Korea; where the episode of his appearance had received a high rating of viewers. He joined the show “We Got Married” paired with Solar from MAMAMOO as his partner, and became a host of a talk show “The Yang and Nam Show” alongside comedian Yang Sehyung.
