(COVERAGE) A Different Adrenaline Rush at Running Man 2017 Live In Malaysia

Running Man 2017 Live In Malaysia were held on Saturday, 22nd April at Malaysia International Exhibition and Convention Center (MIECC), kicking off at 6PM sharp. The Running Man stars; Haha, Kim Jongkook, Lee Kwangsoo, Song JiHyo and Ji Sukjin, were excited for their second visit to Malaysia together after their first one back in 2014.

The show starts with a bang where the whole crew performed Big Bangs Fantastic Baby where they introduced themselves afterwards. Kim Jongkook who speaks fluent English greets with how elated he is to be back in Malaysia again.

Few selected fans from a lucky draw were invited to join the stage for a game session where the first game requires them to re-enact scenes from famous Korean dramas like Descendant of The Sun, Goblin and Secret Garden. Running Man hosts were pleased and complimented the fans for being a good sport at playing games with them. The second game, Couple Jumping Rope requires strong cooperation yet HaHa with his partner comes first showcasing good bonding time while providing so much laughter.

Living up to the expectation of fun and full of comedy, the Korean quintet each show their personal talent in their solo stage. The tallest member Lee Kwangso performed That Woman originally by baek Ji Young from the drama Secret Garden, surprising audience with his deep, strong voice. Ji Suk Jin performed Gummys You Are My Everything with fans singing along to it. A seasoned singer, Kim Jong Kook heat up the stage with Bruno Mars Just The Way You Are. The only female member Song Ji Hyo teamed up with Lee Kwangsoo to perform Mr Chu and JYPs Whos Your Mama. The Solo Performance session ends with the energetic performance by HaHa, who had brought his band member Skull featuring Tyson to showcase Reggae smash and Ragga Muffin

The night continues with no short of entertainment when their special guest, Se7en take over the stage with his hit songs Digital Bounce, Give It To Me and Passion. Malaysian singer, Victor Wong were performing afterwards, soothing the audience with his soft and strong ballad song.

JiHyo appears for the second time, clad in full gear of Twice’s Cheer Up but this time, together with Kwangsoo and Suk Jin, all of them also in the girls costume! HaHa and Skull continues to rock the crowd with Boom di Boom. After such powerful stage, Kim Jongkook serenades the fans with Justin Bieber’s Love Yourself and One Man and Ji Sookjin’s All of Me.

As the show comes to an end, a cake was brought up to the stage as a gift from the Malaysian fans, and a compilation video made by the fans are played. As an encore performance, all of members perform BTSs Fire and Youre Loveable before jumping again to HaHas Busan Vacation and Champion.

The show in Malaysia marks the end of Running Mans tour after Macau, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Thailand. MyKpopHuntress would like to thank EightNine for the invitation.
