[COVERAGE] Xdinary Heroes Lights Up Zepp KL with Their <Beautiful Mind> World Tour in KUALA LUMPUR

KUALA LUMPUR – It was a night to remember for Malaysian Villains as Xdinary Heroes finally made their way to our shores for their <Beautiful Mind> World Tour, held on 31st May 2025 at Zepp Kuala Lumpur, proudly brought by Live Nation Malaysia.

Even before the show began, fans were treated to a special JYP artists promotional video, hyping up the crowd for what was to come. As the video ended, “Diamond” started playing and Villains sang their hearts out while eagerly waiting for the boys to take the stage.

As the lights dimmed and the first notes hit, Xdinary Heroes wasted no time, kicking off the show with a few powerful songs back-to-back. No commentary, no breaks, just pure energy.

The band’s chemistry and musicality were on full display throughout the night, with instrument solos in between songs adding that raw, live-band authenticity that sets them apart. After an intense opening, the boys finally paused to introduce themselves and greet the crowd, even doing so in Bahasa Melayu. It instantly created a sense of closeness and turned the concert into a shared jam session between Xdinary Heroes and their Malaysian Villains.

O.de stole the spotlight during one of the talk segments when he brought out his keytar, jokingly saying he looked cute with it. And let’s be honest, he totally did. Meanwhile, Gun-il shared that Xdinary Heroes’ music is best experienced live, and they were genuinely happy seeing Villains enjoying the show so wholeheartedly.

One of the most memorable moments came when the boys asked Villains to sing PLUTO. They played the instruments while the crowd took over the vocals. It was a heartwarming exchange that visibly touched the members.

Jooyeon earned extra love from the crowd when he shouted, “Gempak giler!” The fans cheered even louder at their effort to speak in Bahasa Melayu, including the translator who also added some local phrases, showing their genuine appreciation for Malaysian fans.

The energy in Zepp KL was off the charts. Fans were jumping, headbanging, and singing along to every track. During Moneyball, Jun Han had a small and adorable mishap that made the performance feel even more real and endearing.

Midway through the show, the boys toned things down to showcase a more emotional side. Songs like Good Enough and Save Me created a softer moment in the setlist, as the members said they hoped the songs could bring healing to Villains going through tough times. The emotional wave continued with Dreaming Girl, where fans were invited to sing the chorus and they did so passionately, filling the venue with warmth and unity.

While the band went backstage for a quick wardrobe change, it was Villains’ time to shine. A lyrics video for Break the Brake played, and fans turned up the volume, loudly singing along and keeping the energy alive.

Then came one of the most touching moments of the night — a fan-made video that highlighted Xdinary Heroes’ journey from debut until now. As the video ended, fans raised their hand banners and sang the chorus part of Supernatural together. The band members stood in awe, visibly emotional and overwhelmed by the love and thoughtfulness of their fans.

After a sweet group photo session with the crowd, the band returned for their encore, wrapping up the night with their iconic debut track Happy Death Day. It was the perfect way to close a concert that had it all — energy, emotion, and unforgettable moments.

Xdinary Heroes may have just held their first-ever concert in Malaysia, but judging by the energy, passion, and connection shared that night, it’s safe to say this won’t be their last. Malaysian Villains truly showed up and showed out, and the boys definitely felt every bit of it.
