Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Central i-City collaborate to bring Thai culture, cuisine, performances, royal presence and star power to Malaysian visitors
SHAH ALAM, 26 JUNE 2026 – Amazing Thailand Fest 2026 arrives at Central i-City, Malaysia, bringing visitors a vibrant three-day celebration of Thai culture, cuisine, performances and immersive lifestyle experiences.
Taking place from 26 to 28 June 2026, Amazing Thailand Fest 2026 is presented through a collaboration between the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Central i-City, Central Pattana’s first shopping centre development outside Thailand, offering Malaysians the opportunity to experience the essence of Thailand closer to home.
This year’s Amazing Thailand Fest 2026 has travelled across many cities, showcasing Thailand’s rich cultural identity through food, lifestyle, tourism and creative experiences.
Following successful overseas collaborations between Central Group’s international department store network and TAT at Selfridges London, KaDeWe Berlin and de Bijenkorf Amsterdam, the series now arrives at Central i-City, marking Malaysia as the fourth destination of the festival’s global showcase.
Adding to the excitement, Thai actor and singer Third Lapat will make an exclusive appearance at the festival, delighting fans with a live performance and cooking demonstration. His appearance is expected to delight Thai entertainment fans and further elevate the festival atmosphere.
At the heart of Amazing Thailand Fest 2026 is a showcase of Thailand’s food, culture and hospitality, featuring authentic Thai food offerings, cultural performances and engaging experiences curated to introduce visitors to the many flavours and traditions of Thailand.
Visitors can look forward to a lively Thai Food Bazaar featuring authentic Thai cuisine and street food favourites, alongside cultural performances that celebrate Thailand’s performing arts and heritage. The festival will also feature traditional showcases such as Nora, Phirom Ros Siam, Pong Pai and other Thai cultural performances throughout the three-day celebration.
As the Malaysia destination partner, Central i-City further enhances the festival experience with an expanded lineup of activities, attractions and promotions designed to create a more immersive and family-friendly celebration for visitors.
One of the key highlights curated by Central i-City is the Sawasdee Lounge, featuring a Thai-inspired Floating Market setting where visitors can enjoy Thai desserts, snacks and refreshments in a relaxed atmosphere. The area will also feature live busker performances, games and photo opportunities, creating a vibrant lifestyle zone inspired by Thailand’s iconic marketplace culture.
Families and children can enjoy a wide range of activities throughout the festival, including workshops, arts-and-crafts sessions, fun challenges, dessert-making activities, a Kids Muay Thai Workshop, and Thai massage experiences. These activities are designed to offer visitors of all ages a fun and accessible way to discover Thai culture beyond food and performances.
