It’s been seven years since Taiwanese-Korean singer Bii last held a solo concert in Malaysia — and judging from the deafening cheers last weekend, the fans had missed him dearly. While he’s remained active in Taiwan, this marked a long-awaited return to the Malaysian stage, and fans showed up in full force to welcome him back.
From the moment he stepped onto the stage, the energy was electric. The crowd sang along passionately to fan favourites like “Back In Time”, “Unreachable Happiness”, “B-A-B-Y”, and “Love More” — turning the concert into a shared celebration of the music that has accompanied them through the years.
Bii’s sincere warmth and humour lit up the night. He expressed his heartfelt thanks during several ment segments, visibly touched by the strong turnout and unwavering support from his Malaysian fans. “It’s been so long since I’ve been here. Thank you for still being here for me,” he said, drawing loud cheers and applause.
In a particularly special moment, Bii performed a heartfelt cover of “Fairy Tale” by Michael Wong, paying tribute to one of Malaysia’s most beloved ballad singers. He shared with the audience that Michael Wong is one of his favourite and most respected senior singers, adding a layer of local connection that resonated deeply with the crowd. To top it off, he seamlessly transitioned into “Rasa Sayang”, a beloved Malaysian folk tune — a combination that delighted fans and showed his appreciation for local culture.
One of the most moving highlights of the night was Bii’s Korean song medley, where he performed emotional renditions of “Beautiful”, “Till the End Of Time”, “Only Then”, and “Still Life.” These covers showcased his vocal depth and heartfelt delivery, earning admiration from both longtime fans and new listeners.And just when the crowd thought it couldn’t get better, Bii brought the energy sky-high with a fiery dance medley featuring GOT7’s “Python”, ATEEZ’s “Ice On My Teeth”, and G-Dragon’s “Home Sweet Home.” The crowd roared with excitement, but Bii cheekily admitted during his ment, “Dancing is too much for me now as a father,” drawing laughter and applause for his relatable charm.
He also surprised fans by walking down from the stage to interact with the audience up close — shaking hands, smiling warmly, and even joining in on a playful kiss cam segment. These moments of genuine connection made the night even more special.
The concert wrapped with a three-song encore that left everyone on an emotional high. The setlist was beautifully curated — blending his newest releases with nostalgic hits and a few surprises along the way.
