After a long six-year wait, Jay Park finally made his grand return to Malaysian shores with his much-anticipated 2025 World Tour [Serenades & Body Rolls], and it was everything fans could have asked for and more.

Kuala Lumpur was only the second stop of the tour after Seoul, a clear sign that Jay hasn’t forgotten his fans here. His last performance in Malaysia dates back to September 27, 2019, during the SEXY 4EVA IN ASIA tour. And now, six years later, he returned with a vengeance — and a 40-song setlist that took the crowd on an electrifying, emotional, and unforgettable journey.

From R&B serenades to hip-hop bangers, Jay Park delivered every track with energy, charisma, and precision. But what truly made the night special was his deep connection with the crowd and his tribute to local music.

He shared the stage with some of Malaysia’s biggest names: DOLLA, Joe Flizzow, SonaOne, and Yuna. One of the standout moments saw Jay jump in to rap alongside Joe Flizzow on “CIAO,” with Joe even bringing out his AIM trophy on stage! a cheeky, unforgettable moment that had fans screaming. When DOLLA joined him for a sexy, powerful stage of “Mommae”, the chemistry was off the charts. The collaboration brought a whole new dimension to the track and solidified it as one of the night’s hottest highlights. Later in the evening, Jay performed the duet “Does She” with Yuna for the first time ever live. The emotional performance drew cheers, tears, and thunderous applause, definitely a historic moment!

Jay also made sure to show love to his Malaysian fans by peppering his stage talk with Bahasa Malaysia phrases. From “Apa khabar?” to “Semua cantik!” and “Dah makan ke belum?”, his attempts were met with loud cheers and laughter. At one point, he asked, “What food should I try in Malaysia?”, prompting fans to shout out suggestions like “nasi lemak” and “satay”. Jay then shared that he had already tried satay and confirmed, “It’s good!”

The most hilarious moment came when he accidentally mixed up “cina” (Chinese) and “cinta” (love), turning the romantic “Aku cinta kamu” into “Aku cina kamu”, sending the entire venue into a burst of laughter. It was a slip that instantly made him even more endearing.

From start to finish, Jay Park’s KL stop was more than a concert, it was a celebration of connection, culture, and community. Whether through powerful music, surprise collaborations, or just a heartfelt “terima kasih,” Jay reminded fans that Malaysia will always have a special place in his heart.

Huge thanks to Live Nation Malaysia for the kind invitation, and to Jay Park, for never forgetting us, and always making Malaysia feel like home.
