Kuala Lumpur, April 27th, 2024 – The highly anticipated ‘Jujutsu Kaisen Experience’ has officially opened its doors today in Kuala Lumpur. Running from April 27th to July 27th, 2024, this exhibition is being held at Pavilion Bukit Jalil’s 3rd-floor, Pink Zone. Yesterday’s grand opening ceremony unveiled the enchanting world of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen,’ allowing fans to immerse themselves in the charm of each anime character and experience their signature moves firsthand.
Since its debut, “Jujutsu Kaisen” has captured the hearts of fans worldwide, earning recognition as the “Most Popular Anime of 2023” by Guinness World Records. With the announcement of the third season in production, excitement among fans is reaching new heights. In response to this, ACO LAB and ACO MEDIA have collaborated to present the ‘Jujutsu Kaisen Experience,’ promising an immersive and unforgettable event for anime enthusiasts.
At the opening ceremony, Minister of Communications, YB PUAN TEO NIE CHING, confessed her passion for anime, saying, “Since childhood, I have enjoyed watching ‘Dragon Ball,’ ‘Slam Dunk,’ and ‘One Piece.'” Although she has yet to watch ‘Jujutsu Kaisen,’ she expressed her intention to do so with her son. She humorously remarked that she hopes to see more exhibitions featuring her favourite anime in the future.
During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the organisers made a thoughtful gesture by designing the ribbons to resemble the “sealing talismans” from the anime. This symbolised the official commencement of the ‘Jujutsu Kaisen Experience,’ inviting all anime enthusiasts to visit and relive scenes from the anime together.
The organisers have meticulously designed the exhibition into three main zones, allowing anime enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the world of “Jujutsu Kaisen” and create unforgettable memories. These three zones include the Anime-themed Restaurant, “Jujutsu Kaisen” Photo Zone, and Merchandise Store.
ACO LAB’s Anime-themed Restaurant features a specially curated menu inspired by the main characters of “Jujutsu Kaisen,” offering a delightful selection of Japanese cuisine, desserts, and beverages. The restaurant’s design incorporates various elements from the anime, with character patterns adorning even the meal boxes and cup holders. Additionally, large-scale models of the adorable versions of the strongest sorcerer, Satoru Gojo, and the protagonist, Yuji Itadori, serve as perfect backdrops for fan photos.
In addition, the ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ Photo Zone features five anime scenes, showcasing life-size cardboard standees of the main characters, as well as villains and supporting characters. Each scene immerses visitors into the world of the anime, allowing fans to interact closely with their favourite characters and create lasting memories.
The event also features Malaysia’s largest ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ merchandise store, hosted by ACO LAB. Showcasing over 120 exclusive limited-edition Jujutsu Kaisen merchandise, including T-shirts, collectible cards, character acrylic standees, desk mats, and more, the store offers a wide range of officially licensed products meticulously designed and crafted. Anime enthusiasts can enjoy unparalleled shopping pleasure and take home their favourite merchandise. Additionally, the store provides a photo booth where visitors can take photos with their favourite character templates, adding to the overall experience.
