BABYMETAL recently announced their first Asian tour and Malaysia has been included as one of the stops! This has delighted many of their fans as they have been longing to watch them perform live in the country. iMe Malaysia, the organiser of “BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2023 IN KUALA LUMPUR”, has recently just confirmed on the tour by releasing the concert details.
BABYMETAL, which debuted in 2010, originally consists of Suzuka Nakamoto as “Su-metal”, Moa Kikuchi as “Moametal” and Yui Mizuno as “Yuimetal”. With their unique fusion concept of heavy metal and Japanese idol, they started gaining fame among the public across the globe. Apart from attending various music festivals with Metallica, Guns N’ Roses and other legendary rock groups, they were also the opening guest for Lady Gaga’s tour. In 2018, member Yui Mizuno decided to leave the group due to health reasons while the other 2 remained and continued as a duo.
In just a few years after debuting, BABYMETAL has broken many records and become renowned internationally. They started gaining popularity in 2010 with their debut song “Doki Doki Morning”. Following their successful debut, they released their first album in 2014 and was ranked No.1 on Billboard’s global album list which has marked the start of their fame in Europe and the United States. In the same year, BABYMETAL also announced their first world tour and became frequent performers at many well-known music festivals. After not being able to hold any concerts due to the pandemic, BABYMETAL has decided to return with their Asian tour which consists of Jakarta, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Taipei and Kuala Lumpur.
“BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2023 IN KUALA LUMPUR” organised by iMe Malaysia will be held on 4th June 2023 (Sunday), 8pm at ZEPP KUALA LUMPUR. Tickets are priced at RM798 (VIP Package), RM498 (BABY Zone) and RM398 (METAL). Prices stated exclude RM4 handling fee. Fans who purchased BABY Zone will be entitled to receive the official poster, lanyard and Laminate.
The organiser has also specially arranged a VIP Package which includes a BABY Zone concert ticket, limited edition merchandise, official poster, lanyard and laminate as well as an early admission with priority queue to purchase merchandise.
