[COVERAGE] A Sweet Return of APink Asia Tour in Kuala Lumpur

APink is finally back here in Malaysia and this time they bought with them, their first ever concert organized by Ignatus Asia at Dewan Wawasan, Menara PGRM, Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, 9 th September, 2018.

The concert kicked off with their latest comeback song, “I’m So Sick”. Donning an all blue outfit, the girls got the Malaysian Panda excited for their show in Malaysia. Its been a while since their previous show in Malaysia which was for K-wave concert last year. APink had expressed how excited they are to be meeting the Pandas again and they promised to bring a fun filled night. They have shared stories about the preparation for their seventh mini album, One & Six which was released in summer. Member Namjoo have expressed her nervousness in preparing the album but she was glad when the fans love it.

The show continues with performance of Apink’s hit songs like “Five”, “Only One” and “Remember” before it gets to the second talk session where Eunji mentioned Malaysia as the first country they went overseas to for promotion back in 2012. She asked fans if they remember the weather on the day they visited and the whole Apink shows their deep gratitude to all the Malaysian Pandas who have been supportive of them.

The mood turns melancholic when the ladies of APink took a seat and sings to their famous ballads, “Miss You” and “Ding Dong”. APink’s official lightstick, Panda Bong filled the hall and waving along the rhythm making the whole moment very special for both idol and fans. At their third talk session, members were updating the fans on what they were up to recently. Some highlights included Naeun’s experience in Paris, how Bomi has started up her own Youtube Channel named “Bbom Bbom Bbom” and Eunji about her filming back in winter, also to the fans’ delight, she is preparing for her new solo album!

Half end of the show, they performed “LUV”, “Mr. Chu” and “No No No” and then really ended it with an encore session by performing “Drummer Boy” and “The Wave”. As for their good bye speech, APink continues to show how thankful they are for the fans who has attended their concert. Leader Chorong said she have been enjoying herself on the stage and promised to come back to meet Malaysian fans again in the near future.
